Solara is a fictional eco-conscious travel brand. I designed its landing page to capture a sense of calm, elegance, and sustainability. The layout blends immersive visuals like parallax beach views with clean UX flows — showcasing carbon offset features, unique stays, and curated itineraries that promote conscious travel.

Problem
The objective was to create an immersive and emotionally warm landing page that reflects Solara’s values: transparency, personalization, and slow travel. It had to be visually inviting, informative, and conversion-ready.

My Process
I focused on intentional storytelling through layout, imagery, and subtle motion. I began by researching five sustainable travel websites and two boutique hotel brands to understand common patterns and gaps. From there, I sketched initial layouts inspired by print magazines and travel field guides. I then built a component-based UI system that included cards, parallax sections, and soft modals to ensure consistency and flexibility. Finally, I designed high-fidelity mockups using soft serif typography, earthy color tones, and layered visuals to create an immersive and calming experience.
Impact
The final design resonated with feedback groups for its clarity and tone. It was praised for making eco-travel feel desirable and not restrictive. The modular layout also lends itself to easy adaptation across campaigns, blogs, and future booking tools.
